Policies
Late Pick Up Policy
Notify the director as soon as possible if an unavoidable situation arises that prevents a student from being picked up on time.
If late pick up becomes a chronic problem for a student (more than twice in a school year), the student's parent or guardian shall be warned by the director that a penalty fee shall be applied for all future late pick ups.
The penalty for chronic late pick ups shall be $5.00 after the first 15 minutes, and an additional $5.00 for each 15 minute period thereafter.
This penalty shall be paid directly to the director and/or the assistant teacher.
Any unpaid late pick up fees will be added to and due with the following month's tuition.
Late Payment Policy
Tuition is past due 5 business days of the due date and a notice shall be sent to the last known address of the tuition payer.
Tuition is delinquent 10 business days of the due date and a written notice of intent to suspend the student shall be sent.
If tuition is not received by the last day of the month, the student shall enter suspended status and may no longer attend preschool or preschool related functions until tuition is paid in full.
Health and Safety Policies
All immunizations are required to be up to date by the first day of school.
Children may not attend school with a contagious disease, fever or infestation (headlice, etc.)
No medication will be administered by school personnel unless it is under a doctor's prescription and the teacher
receives a note from the parent which gives authorization and instruction.
Children with food allergies should provide their own snacks and not partake of school provided snacks.
All children enrolling in Little Lambs are automatically enrolled in the National Casualty Company Insurance program.
The premium for this plan is included in the registration fee. In case of accident occurring on school grounds, a claim form
will be supplied to the parent to then be completed and submitted to the carrier.
In order to insure the child's safety, we require that each child be brought to the building by an adult.
Children should arrive no earlier than five minutes before class begins.
They should enter and exit through the Northeast door off the parking lot.
A child will not be dismissed with anyone except a parent or someone designated by the parents to take the child home.
In the event that it is necessary for someone other than the parents to pick up the child, a written note or phone call to the teacher is necessary.
All field trips will have one adult per four children. Children will be fastened in seat belts any time they are in a moving vehicle. Every precatuion will be taken for the safety
of children on field trips. Children without signed field trip permission slips on their enrollment forms will be notified in advance and asked to remain home from school
during the field trip.
Transportation
Transportation is not currently provided for preschool students.
However, the Preschool Board will assist in the organization of carpools and try to help solve
major transportation problems with individual families. If there is significant need, the board
will study the feasibility of establishing a bus route.
